As a life-long learner, education executive leader, and former corporate executive, Dr. Minus can attest that education is the great equalizer that can level the playing field for individuals willing to invest in themselves. His tailored training programs are designed to compel people like you to reach your full potential and develop the confidence to lead and navigate any environment.

The Humanity Of Leadership

This approach teaches leaders how to achieve maximum results using a model that focuses on accountability with dignity. In this training, Dr. Minus teaches the importance of understanding, valuing, and prioritizing the human aspect of leadership actions and the decision-making process to ensure a healthy organizational culture that allows for successful employee retention, recruitment, advancement, and leadership succession. As part of this training, participants will:

  • Collaborate with other upwardly mobile and motivated leaders who desire to improve their practices and become a more effective leader.
  • Learn how to apply the Humanity of Leadership Framework (HOLF) to improve their leadership capacity and drive results for their organization.
  • Discover the 6 principles for elevating impactful leadership.
  • Develop a plan for the implementation of the HOLF in their current leadership role.
  • Engage with performance tools to support the application of the HOLF.
  • Practice using the HOLF in mock scenarios to understand the power of using this framework.

Navigating the Business of Public Schools

Parents and guardians of school-aged children

As a former middle and high school principal, education executive in 3 major school systems in the nation, and as a parent, Dr. Minus has observed the frustrations and challenges parents face with ensuring their child matriculates through school successfully and is equipped to enter society college and career ready. In this training, Dr. Minus shares insights not typically shared by school systems and provides strategies to help parents and guardians ensure their students are getting the highest quality educational experience. As part of this training, participants will:

  • Hear insights from experts in the field of education to help them understand the landscape of public education.
  • Identify and practice strategies for engaging with school system personnel to obtain the desired result.
  • Examine one’s rights as a parent and chief advocate for their child.
  • Create a customized kindergarten through grade 12 plan for your student to navigate the public school system.

Youth and Young Adult Leadership Certification

(Ages 13 – 21)

For the last 30 years, Dr. Minus has committed himself to young people. As a middle and high school principal, assistant principal, teacher, mentor, Sunday school teacher, basketball coach, and camp counselor, Dr. Minus has poured into the lives of thousands of kids around the country. Through the creation of the Youth and Young Adult Leadership Certification program, sponsored by Impact Solutions Realized, LLC, Dr. Minus and his team of certified youth and young adult leaders aim to grow the capacity of leadership in our youth so that they are equipped to exert themselves as community advocates, influencers, and game changers. As part of this training, participants will:

  • Build connections with like-minded individuals passionate about leadership and making a difference in the world.
  • Identify their leadership strengths and how to apply them to their personal lives.
  • Develop the leadership capacity to become an influencer in their community.
  • Discover how to use their leadership capacity to make an impact on the organizations in which they serve.
  • Leverage their leadership capabilities to build relationships and connections with others.
